Request a room facing the canal for a quieter experience and a lovely view in the morning.

Spacious rooms offered a lovely view of the canal. The location near t'Zand kept me close to the action, yet I enjoyed the serene canal view. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choices, a highlight every morning. The decor felt slightly dated, particularly with the linoleum flooring, which gave an oddly homey yet less polished vibe. Traffic noise from the nearby thoroughfare was noticeable at times, especially at night. A bit more attention to updating the amenities would enhance the stay further.

both near to the sights and a bit in the distance from the crowds of tourists, very 'Bruggelike'
the lift was long in thinking which floor to go

That was a very interesting place for live. Its not far away from main places of interest and Central railway stantion. There were big rooms, nice dining room and best view from room's window.
Breakfast was very scant, but pancackes were very good.

Very Clean, no frills but comfortable. Very close to main centre with many amenities including cultural and historical as well as shopping and great cafe bar's and restaurants in walking distance. Family run Hotel with a good customer and personal service geared toward the individual guests.
Just wished we could have stayed longer...

Good location, large room with ensuite bathroom. No problem with not having tv or internet, making the stay cheaper. Good breakfast.
Thin walls (I was woken up by the active couple and the snoring neighbour next door). For this reason, I would not stay there if I have to go back to Brugge.

budget choice, cute atmosphere, spacious rooms
Linoleum flooring screams outdated, and aging mismatched bath towels really detract from the experience!!! Noise from traffic outside is quite disruptive at night.

The staff was excellent! They were so helpful and friendly. Hotel Ensor is just a short walk from the main streets of Bruge; it was nice to be a little bit off the path. The breakfast served each morning was very varietal and filling. Although the room was a little outdated, it was spacious and clean and had a nice view of the canal. If you aren't too fussy about decor, the other benefits of Ensor easily outweigh this detail!

It is a small, family-run hotel so there is great warmth and a high level of concern for guest comfort. I had an unusual problem and Marc, the owner, stopped everything to help me find a solution. I felt I was working with a friend. The breakfast is excellent. If I ever return to Brugge I would definitely stay at the Ensor.

Bruges vibes 🌷
Location was super lekker, close to everything but still quiet at night. Had the most boerie of brekkies with all the goodies, fresh pastries and fruits. Chommie at reception was really helpful, gave us the lowdown on where to go!
The room felt a bit dated, but ag man, it added to the charm.

Spacious rooms, and the affordable price of 53EUR for a single with breakfast directly from the website is a steal. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices to kickstart the day right.
The decor feels a bit outdated, with linoleum flooring and mismatched bath towels that could use some upgrading. Plus, the traffic noise from the nearby thoroughfare is a persistent issue, especially at night. While the canal view is nice, it would be better if the surroundings were quieter.

The hotel is ideally located: just off the hustle and bustle of the city, so you can reach the centre with a 5-minute walking, but you can relax in a quiet location in this canal-side hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfst is excellent.
One problem though: the walls are as thin as a tissue, so you can even hear the whisper of the people in the neighbouring room. Not to mention the man snoring next to our room...
